This is my first go at a blog. Joe is doing blogs for school now, and after reading his, I decided to try this stuff out. I guess I'm supposed to write about a day in the life of me...hope it's not too boring for those of you who decide to follow my blog. :)
Sarah (my sis) came over today to show me her new 'ride'. We went to lunch at El Nopal..which was delicious! Then we met up with Nicki and Lacy (my cousins) and went to Green Valley Nursing Home to watch my momma get crowned Queen of Green Valley. It was so cute to see her get crowned, and share a toast of sparking juice with the King.
Sarah laughed at me because I got a little teary eyed...nursing homes kinda pull on my heart strings. I have always thought that nursing homes are a sad place. I know I shouldn't feel that way, especially after seeing all the fun things that they get to do there.
Went to Walmart tonight and bought a couple of flower pots and some solar lights for our yard...
Joe is off to his first track meet tomorrow..we are pretty excited for the track season to start. :)
